OCTOBER
22, 2000 Where does Apple go from here? It looks that Apple is out of insanely great ideas. In August 98 Apple introduced the iMac setting a cornerstone for a computer strategy, shortly after came out the B&W G3's and Bronze power books, two great machines. It was just a matter of time before Apple released the other major player on its team the iBook. Now the future looks bleak. Are we just going to be looking at revisions of the same old same old? I don't think so. With Apple coming back strong they can take markets where people were afraid to follow due to Apples previous weakness. My personal stock market forecast has Apple hitting $90 by end of first quarter 2000; I owe my father an expensive dinner if it doesn't. Apple
has strength, money and most of all support to move on to greater heights.
Specifically, I'm talking about Newton for the next millennia, and yes
it will fit in the "PALM" of
you hand. And there's more. Everybody knows that TV's and computers
are converging into one entertainment system. In steps Pippin 2000.
Beefed up with an Altavec G4 it would play circles around Playstation
2. Imagine Pippin not only plays games, TV, DVD, CD, web surf, but can
turn sprinklers and lights on and off while you're away in Mexico for
the weekend. Could I be dreaming, or am I just another crazy one.....
